The Rule Of Four
I haven’t blogged about anything constructive in ages. i didn’t mean to start of with a book review but i can’t help it. hehehe. anyway, updates first. i got 2 A’s, 2 B’s, 2 C’s and 2 D’s for my end of years. good news, im promoting. bad news, i can’t say the same for my class as a whole. though its not confirmed yet, i sincerely hope we can all promote together. its terribly sad and i wish it was a different ending to 2008. my results were extremely mediocre and i promise to work a lot harder next year. i started library proper after open house(last sat) yesterday and it was not bad. i spent two hours scanning books with the pretty hand device that beeps loud enough for studious sec fours who came back to study to give me dirty looks. ouch. that thing resonated throughout the very small library. i then spent some time checking the computer system for invalid books. lol. at least library club seems to educate people on the life of a librarian. haha.
i have a research skills workshop to attend come wednesday. on monday i’ll be given the schedule and details for the A maths diagnostic test on the 29th of december. that’s because i failed it:D but i also failed E maths. difference is, E maths is compulsory and i can’t drop it next year. hmmm. i don’t despise maths, its just not my best friend. school ends next thursday and there is a five day break for the festival season i think. happy deepavali to all indians btw.
thw whole world knows im in library club now thanks to this very NICE announcement that went like “all library club members, including Sharanya and (another choir junior) please see Mrs Jai outside the general office after morning assembly” hahahahahaha. I KNOW im in libray club! why specify?:D anyway Isis spent time laughing at me loads. sigh. oh and a grand total of 25 ppl attended school on friday! hahahahaa. yesh i know we all see no point in school BUT oi, Mdm Lum wants to teach new things! aaand we get to watch black and white movies.( Mr Chai’s fault). and and and we got mother tongue!( but yeah. three 50 min long periods is boggling). ah i give up. here is really nothin to look forward to:D lol. just come cause IM BORED!
about recent events, i know they were HUGE. but i don’t really have much to say unless i password protect this post. pointless really. i WISH things could have been different nonetheless.
Finally, on to the real topic of discussion..(even though i doubt i have conveyed all updates), there is a MUST-READ book i read finished today. its titled ‘The Rule Of Four’ by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. its remarkably like the Davinci code and i LOVE books that are intelligent:D like seriously, the plot is genius.its like watching national treasure. super action packed and nice. it requires you to think logically and the answers to some questions are just so simple that its astounding. some books are too good to miss…like this one. so go read! cya.
